Hey everyone! I just got an AMD Radeon RX 6750 XT and I'm noticing some serious stuttering and FPS drops, likely because my current CPU is a bit outdated (Intel Core i5-6500). I'm on a tight budget, though, and looking for suggestions for a budget-friendly CPU that would work well with this GPU. I've seen some old posts, but I'm hoping for some updated recommendations. Also, do I need to upgrade my motherboard as well? I'm currently using an MSI B150M Mortar. Thanks for your help—I'm pretty new to all this!

If you're working with a limited budget, I'd suggest going for the Ryzen 5 5600 or the Intel i5 12400F. Both options will require a new motherboard, but they're solid choices. Make sure you also have at least 16GB of RAM clocked at 3200MHz for the best performance. Shopping for used parts or checking sites like AliExpress could help you save some cash.

Thanks for the advice! I've noticed a lot of people mentioning the Ryzen 5 5600, so I think I'll go with that. In Finland, it's around 104€. I'm also looking at getting 16GB of Kingston Fury Beast DDR4 3200MHz RAM for 90€ from the same place. Do you think the MSI B550-A PRO AM4 motherboard is a good match? It's priced at 114€, which seems reasonable.
