Recommendations for a Budget Gaming Headset

Hey everyone! I'm on the hunt for a decent gaming headset for my PC, and I have a budget of about $50 USD (which is roughly the local price here in Egypt). I use it for different activities: about 50% for gaming (mostly FPS and open-world titles), 30% for music (I really enjoy strong bass and rich sound), and 20% for watching movies and shows.
Right now, I'm considering two options: the **Fifine H9** (which has some decent reviews and is priced at around $38) and the **XPG Precog Studio** (which is slightly pricier at around $44, but it's an older model and I couldn't find many reviews on it). My main priorities are good overall sound quality, strong bass (especially for music), a decent mic for casual chatting, 7.1 surround support, and comfort for long gaming sessions. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Consider checking RTINGS for budget headphone reviews. They have a good list of whatโs available and can help you choose based on great sound quality!

Why not just go for something like AirPods Max? They have awesome sound, but I get that theyโre a bit over budget unless you can find them on sale.

Honestly, you might want to skip the gaming brands for audio. A lot of the time, music-oriented headphones offer better sound quality. You could look at brands that specialize in audio instead, although that might mean no mic. But the sound would be worth it!
CasualGamer88: Yeah, but you need a mic for chatting while gaming. That's kind of essential.

Have you checked out budget options that aren't well-known? Sometimes those can really surprise you. It's worth doing some research to see if there's something great that's a hidden gem.
