I'm updating my old AM4 build into a NAS and I'm planning to use a Ryzen 5 5600 in it. The stock cooler from AMD is doing okay, but I'd like to swap it out for a single tower cooler. The 5600 doesn't run hot, so I just need something affordable that gets the job done. Any suggestions for coolers around $25?

Honestly, any tower cooler you find should work fine. Just pick one that fits your budget and is compatible with your setup; they’ll all be better than the stock cooler. Plus, the stock one is still plenty good for your needs.
Gamers Nexus reviewed a cooler called the Thermalright Assassin Spirit 120 V2, and they rated it as the best budget option they tested. It’s about $26 on Amazon right now.
The Assassin X and its various versions are solid choices. Still, have you thought about keeping the stock cooler? It performs well enough for the 5600.

Yeah, I figured a non-stock cooler could offer a little extra performance for just a few extra bucks.
