The AMD Ryzen 5500 is a decent and affordable choice! For graphics, the 3060 or 3060 Ti are also solid options. If you're considering something even cheaper, you might want to look at the RX 6600, especially if you can find good deals on used parts.
Yeah, the 5500 is pretty affordable. Still, I prefer the 5600X for around $120 because it's a bit more powerful, though it might not be worth the extra cash if you're on a tight budget.
