Recommendations for the Best MDM for Android Devices

I'm looking for a solid Mobile Device Management (MDM) solution specifically for Android devices as my company plans to roll out about 50 phones for fieldwork. Our current MDM works for Windows and Mac but doesn't support Android, so we're on the hunt for something that covers our needs. I'm particularly interested in features like remote passcode and account management to easily reassign devices, factory reset prevention, blocking personal account logins, and a straightforward experience for users. Ideally, these devices would require employees to log in with their company Google account before accessing anything else. When the time comes to reassign a device, users would just sign out, and new users can sign in without hassle. Since we use Google Workspace for identity and access management, I've heard that Google Endpoint Management is part of our licenses. Has anyone tried it? What do your experiences look like? Plus, are there any other MDM options you'd suggest?

We're currently using AirWatch, but we're about to switch to Ivanti Neurons. AirWatch has worked well for both iOS and Android, but we've had it up to here with VMware's pricing issues. I've heard good things about Neurons, so fingers crossed it lives up to the hype!

Just a quick note: Workspace ONE is no longer owned by VMware or Broadcom. It's now called Omnissa after being spun off.

I handle around 200 Android devices with Workspace ONE, and it’s been great. I’ve even used it across different platforms like Windows and iOS. It's worked well for us.

ScalefusionMDM is definitely worth checking out for managing Android devices. It offers features like blocking personal account logins, preventing factory resets, and making reassignment super easy. You can require users to sign in with their company Google account, which sounds perfect for what you're after, especially since it integrates well with Google Workspace.

If you're looking for options, I've had some success with Miradore for a few of our clients. It checks all the boxes you're looking for regarding device management.
