Red CPU Light After Upgrading from an i3-12100 to an i5-12th Gen

I was using a 12th-generation Intel i3 with an MSI B760 motherboard, and it booted normally. After replacing the processor with a 12th-generation i5, the system no longer reaches the BIOS and shows the red CPU debug light. Reinstalling the original i3 works immediately. I've already reseated the processor, tried a single RAM stick in slot A2, and reset the CMOS battery, but the i5 still won't POST. Could this be a BIOS compatibility issue, and what should I check next?

Check MSI’s CPU support list and confirm that your exact i5 is supported by the BIOS version installed on the motherboard. Even though both processors are 12th generation and use the same socket, the board may need a newer BIOS or updated microcode. Since the i3 still boots, use it to update the BIOS if possible. If your specific B760 model has a BIOS Flashback button on the rear I/O, you may also be able to update it with a USB drive without booting into the BIOS.

How do I use the BIOS Flashback feature? I’m looking for the correct procedure or a guide to make sure I do it safely.
