RX 9060 XT vs. RX 7700 XT: Which GPU Should I Choose?

I'm trying to decide between the RX 9060 XT and the RX 7700 XT for my PC build. Both GPUs are around the same price for me: the RX 9060 XT (16GB) is currently priced at R$3,099, but I've seen it for as low as R$2,899. On the other hand, the RX 7700 XT is on sale for R$2,799. My setup includes a Ryzen 7 5700 and 32GB DDR4 RAM. I know it's still AM4, but it's what I can afford right now because prices are steep in Brazil. I'm currently using a 1080p monitor but plan to upgrade to 1440p/2k while keeping my old monitor as a secondary. I'm mainly playing older games like The Witcher 3, Borderlands 3, Elden Ring, and some Assassin's Creed titles, along with Destiny 2 and Cyberpunk 2077. Given all this, which GPU would be the better choice for me?

I have the RX 7700 XT and I'm pretty satisfied with it, but if I were buying a new GPU today, I'd definitely lean towards the 9060 XT. The FSR4 tech is a game changer for upscaling, plus the extra memory it offers will be beneficial for your future 1440p upgrade.

Both cards have similar performance, but I'd recommend going with the 9060 XT. It supports FSR4, which is way superior to FSR3, and the additional 4GB of VRAM could make a real difference down the line. By the way, when you mention the 5700, are you talking about the standard 5700 or the 5700X? The regular 5700 isn’t as strong as its newer counterparts, and I'd suggest considering a 5700X if you can find one.

Yeah, it's the regular 5700. Is it really that much worse? I can't seem to find a 5600 here. Maybe I should look for a 5700X instead.
