I'm moving from a decade-old full-size ATX tower to a smaller, air-cooled system and would appreciate a compatibility and value check before buying. The current plan uses a Ryzen 7 7700X, a low-profile Thermalright AXP120-X67 cooler, an ASRock B850I Mini-ITX motherboard, 32GB of DDR5-6000 RGB memory, an RX 9070 XT, a Cooler Master NR200P V2 case, and a 750W SFX power supply. I'm reusing a 500GB Samsung 970 Evo Plus and a 2TB Crucial P3 Plus NVMe drive.
The PC will primarily be used for gaming, including 4K AAA titles such as a future GTA release, along with OSRS and 4K movie playback. I run Linux and will dual-boot Windows for Fusion and occasional Revit use. I'm also considering two 27-inch 4K high-refresh monitors, though I'm open to changing that plan.
Noise matters more to me than maximum cooling performance because the computer will sit on my desk. I also want the system to remain reliable for roughly 8–10 years, so I prefer air cooling over an AIO. Are there any compatibility problems with the cooler, memory, graphics card, case, or power supply? Have these monitors caused any issues? Finally, are there worthwhile component swaps or bundles that could bring the total closer to $2,500?

You may be paying a substantial Mini-ITX premium without getting much smaller than a compact Micro-ATX case. A case such as the Lian Li B4 is only a few liters larger than the NR200P, but it allows a cheaper motherboard, a full-size dual-tower air cooler, better airflow, and more expansion options.
A possible revision would use a Ryzen 7 7800X3D, a Phantom Spirit 120 SE, a reasonably priced B850M board, DDR5-6000 CL30 memory, an 850W SFX power supply, and several inexpensive PWM fans. That configuration can still fit under about $2,500, even with one larger 32-inch 4K monitor and a cheaper secondary display. Since you already own the NVMe drives, make sure they are listed as reused rather than adding their cost again.
The biggest issue is the cooler and memory combination. The AXP120-X67 generally needs low-profile memory, while the Corsair RGB modules are much taller. In the NR200P V2, a 67mm cooler also ends up very close to the vertically mounted graphics card, which can restrict the CPU cooler’s intake and make it pull in warm GPU exhaust.
You could switch to an AXP90-X53 or an ID-COOLING IS-55 with non-RGB memory. Another option is the original NR200, which doesn’t require the same vertical GPU layout and gives you room for a larger tower cooler such as the Phantom Spirit 120 SE. That would likely be quieter and cooler than a low-profile cooler running at high fan speed.
I’d seriously consider an 850W power supply for the RX 9070 XT. A quality 750W unit may work depending on the rest of the system, but 850W gives you more margin for transient spikes, future upgrades, and quieter operation. CPU, motherboard, and memory bundles from major retailers can also be worth checking, although the best bundle deals often use Micro-ATX boards rather than Mini-ITX models.
That’s worth checking, though the bundle options I’ve seen generally don’t include Mini-ITX motherboards, so switching to Micro-ATX would make those deals more useful.

I hadn’t realized how little extra space a compact Micro-ATX case would require compared with my old tower, or how much it could save. I’m probably going to move in that direction. I’m less certain about the monitor choices and may start with one 32-inch display while reusing my current lower-refresh monitor as the secondary.
