Hey everyone, I recently upgraded my PC last month, but since early June, I've been hit with random Blue Screen of Death (BSOD) errors displaying the code 'IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL'. I've updated my drivers (there was one missing, but it didn't solve the issue), scanned my RAM with no hardware problems detected, and tried some solutions via the PC console. Just an hour ago, it crashed again while I was doing nothing demanding on my PC. I've tried using Bluescreenview, but I'm not quite sure what I'm looking at. I read online that it could be related to unauthorized memory usage, but I'd prefer not to wipe everything to fix it. Any insights on what might be causing this or how to resolve it? I have the DMP error files if that helps!

It sounds like you've done some solid troubleshooting! To get a clearer picture of the BSODs, you'll want to gather the dump files from your system. You can check the C:WindowsMinidump directory for any files. If you find them, zip the folder and upload it to a file-sharing site like Mediafire or Catbox.moe since Reddit can be picky about links. More dump files will help in diagnosing the issue, so try to follow some instructions online on how to set your system up to create small memory dumps as well.
First off, it’s good that you checked the drivers and RAM! The next step is ensuring your BIOS is up to date. If it's stable while navigating the menus, go ahead and update it to the latest version (7B86vHN) from your motherboard manufacturer's website. Also, make sure to install the latest AMD Chipset Drivers specific to your motherboard. Just use the AMD installer from the AMD website; avoid the other options as they can cause issues on some systems. After updating, see if the BSODs persist!
Got it! I’ll make sure to update the BIOS and drivers. Just curious—would it be risky to go for a less recent BIOS version if my current one is from 2020?
Thanks, I’ll check the Minidump folder later! I hope those files can shed some light on this issue.
