I'm on the hunt for a new computer and monitor setup tailored for music production, and I'm considering an all-in-one (AIO) PC with touchscreen capabilities that can be VESA mounted. It's essential that the setup is portable and can fit on small desks since I'm replacing my current i7 3rd gen quad-core beast that I typically haul around. I've looked into Lenovo's tiny in-one systems and found models like the M70q, M75q, and M90q Gen 5, especially eyeing the M75q with its Ryzen 7 Pro 8700GE and 32GB RAM. I also checked out the Dell EC27250, but it lacks the VESA mount, although the Dell OptiPlex 7420 Plus with an i9 and 32GB RAM is a contender. Ideally, I would want a Ryzen 7 Pro, but I'm open to an i7 or i9 with at least 6 or 8 cores and would probably settle for 32GB of RAM, unless there's an easy upgrade to 64GB after purchase. Any suggestions?

You might want to look at the M75q since you can get it with VESA brackets for an extra $10, which makes it super easy to mount. I’ve had a few units ordered and they're compact and powerful enough for music production tasks. Definitely worth considering!
If you're flexible with form factors, consider looking into small form factor desktops that can be attached to the back of an external monitor instead of a true AIO. This way, you can get better specs tailored for your audio needs, and still keep a clean setup.
Dell's micro PCs are a great choice if you're looking for VESA mounts. There are also plenty of aftermarket options available if you want something more versatile. Just double-check the specs to make sure they meet your needs for music production.
