Shared Windows PC Shuts Down Instead of Waking from Sleep

I'm helping with a SharePoint migration and ran into a problem with an Intune-joined desktop configured as a shared device for three separate users. Whenever the computer goes to sleep, it appears to shut down and requires a complete restart instead of waking normally. I've checked the monitor and cable connections, but I haven't found anything useful in Intune. None of the other shared devices behave this way. I have limited permissions, so I can reset devices and passwords but don't have access to event logs or most system settings. What could cause this, and where should I look?

It may be hibernating rather than entering normal sleep. If you have administrator access, run `powercfg /hibernate off` from an elevated Command Prompt, then check the advanced power settings and set โHibernate afterโ to Never. If Intune is applying a power-management policy, the local change could be overwritten during the next sync, so the proper fix may need to be made in the relevant Intune configuration profile.

The first thing Iโd normally check is the Windows Event Viewer around the time the machine stops responding. Look for sleep, wake, shutdown, or unexpected power-loss events. Since your account doesnโt have access to those logs, the help desk or whoever manages the device will need to investigate them.

MellowCedar42: Thatโs the problemโI mainly reset devices in Intune and handle password resets, so I donโt have permission to view the logs. Iโve already opened a help desk ticket, but they havenโt found the cause either.
