I have a budget of about 15,000 DKK (roughly 2,300 USD) and would like a mostly black gaming PC with an AMD processor, an RX 9070 XT, 32 GB of RAM, and a 360 mm all-in-one liquid cooler. The new CPU should be a meaningful upgrade over my current Intel Core i5-14600K. Would a complete rebuild make sense, or should I reuse some of my existing parts?

If you specifically want a clearly faster AMD gaming CPU, you’ll generally want an X3D chip such as the Ryzen 7 7800X3D. However, moving to AM5 requires a new motherboard and DDR5 memory, and the full combination of CPU, board, RAM, cooler, graphics card, case, storage, and power supply is likely to exceed 15,000 DKK. A Ryzen 5 9600X would cost less, but it would be closer to the 14600K than a major upgrade.
