I'm considering getting a Radeon RX 9070 XT from Micro Center and have narrowed it down to four options:
1. Brand New: PowerColor RX 9070 XT Reaper (Triple Fan) for $579.99.
2. Open-Box: PowerColor RX 9070 XT Reaper (Triple Fan) for $521.96, but it's marked 'INCOMPLETE: SOLD AS IS.'
3. Open-Box: ASRock RX 9070 XT Steel Legend Dark OC (Triple Fan) for $557.96, and it's 'COMPLETE.'
4. Open-Box: ASUS RX 9070 XT Prime OC (Triple Fan) for $584.96, also marked 'INCOMPLETE: SOLD AS IS.'
Which of these options do you think is the best buy?

I'd go for the RX 9070 XT Reaper if it comes with a manufacturer warranty, which I believe it does. That gives you peace of mind!
It's all about risk! Just keep in mind, 'buyer beware!' Happy shopping!
If you’re worried about what's missing, an open-box with a protection plan could be worth it. Just make sure to check what exactly is incomplete!
I recommend the 'Complete' open-box GPU, especially if it still has a decent warranty. I’ve gotten all my open-box GPUs from Micro Center since 2021, and they’ve all worked out great for me!
Honestly, the savings on open-box items aren’t that great compared to buying new. One of the open-box units costs more than the brand new one! If you can get a protection plan on the open ones, you might be okay, but I’d probably just go for new since the prices are so close.
I’d be cautious about buying open-box items, especially for a high-end GPU. They can be a gamble. Just got my son the RX 9070 XT, and it runs like a champ.
