Hey everyone! I'm putting together my first PC after a long time using a laptop, and I'm pondering whether to buy a used RTX 3060 with 12GB or hold out for the new 5060 which only has 8GB. I'm planning to pair my graphics card with an R7 7700 processor. What do you think? Is the 3060 worth it in 2025?

Honestly, I think there are better options on the market now. The 3060 still has a decent second-hand price because of its 12GB VRAM, but when I upgraded from a 3060 to a 3070 Ti (8GB), I noticed a huge jump in FPS, especially after undervolting. If you can swing it, the 3070 Ti isn't much more expensive and offers a great performance boost for gaming at higher resolutions.
