I originally planned to start building in 2025, but unexpected expenses delayed that. Now, with RAM prices rising, I'm considering jumping in and buying RAM now, even though it's a bit early for me. I'm thinking about getting 32GB DDR4, which fits my budget since DDR5 is out of reach. Should I go ahead and buy the RAM now or wait until I can afford more components? Or would it make more sense to simply buy prebuilt PCs instead? Any advice or insight would be greatly appreciated!

Just a heads up, RAM prices are expected to rise soon because of supply issues. If you want to build in 2026, you might face higher costs by then. Prebuilts are indeed looking like a good deal right now, but make sure they fit your budget!
Check the cost of prebuilt PCs; sometimes they can be a better deal than buying parts separately. A friend got a solid prebuilt system for a great price, which might save you from overspending on just RAM alone. If the prebuilt option looks good, it might be the way to go!
