Should I cancel my 5070 Ti order and grab one that's in stock instead?

I reached out to both the retailer and the store where I pre-ordered my 5070 Ti, and they both indicated that they might have some stock arriving soon. However, I just heard news that the production of 5070 Ti graphics cards isn't meeting demand, which has led to canceled pre-orders. This has me worried, as it seems likely that they might not get any cards after all. I feel like this could mean they'd cancel my order too, and I don't want to end up overspending for a card that's available. Honestly, I wish I had just spent an extra $300 on the 5080 that was already in stock instead of going for the 5070 Ti.

Honestly, there’s no good news right now. It seems like they’ve stopped making 5070 Ti cards altogether. If you can find one, snag it while you can, or think about switching to the 9070 XT instead.

If the 5070 Ti isn't looking good, you might consider the 9070 XT instead. It's a solid choice for 1440p gaming and often comes at a lower price than the 5070 Ti. Better than sticking to a pre-order that may not get fulfilled!

Ultimately, this is really up to your retailer. They might be in the dark just like you in terms of what stock they’ll actually receive. It's tough to say for sure if they’ll cancel your order or if they’ll be getting more cards in soon.
