Should I Choose 5060 Ti or 9070 XT for a New PC Build?

I'm helping a friend build a new PC, and we want to use her existing DDR4 RAM. We're looking at the ASUS B760M-AYW WiFi D4 II motherboard because it supports DDR4 and PCIe 5.0, and we're planning these specs:

- ASUS B760M-AYW WiFi D4 II
- Corsair RM750/850x PSU
- 32GB DDR4 RAM (whatever speed she has)
- Intel i7 14700KF CPU
- Either a 5060 Ti or a 9070 XT with 16GB VRAM

I'm aware that the performance gap might lean towards the 9070 XT, but there's a $100 CAD price difference between them. How much should we factor in features like DLSS and Frame Generation versus raw performance for longevity in her setup, especially since she'll be gaming on a 1440p 144Hz monitor? Also, is this CPU/GPU combination good in terms of preventing any bottleneck issues? My own rig has a 5070 Ti that's bottlenecked at 1440p by my 5700X3D, and I want to help her avoid similar issues. Any insights would be super helpful!

For the price difference, definitely go for the 9070 XT! The performance gap between it and the 5060 Ti is significant, and no software can really match that boost. Since she's gaming at 1440p, the extra power will be beneficial, especially for future titles.

I appreciate the insight! Sounds like we made the right call going for the 9070 XT.
