I'm thinking about switching from Fedora and I want to really dive into a core Linux distribution. Should I go with Arch, Debian, or maybe another option? Here are my specs: Ryzen 5 5600X, RX6650XT, and 16GB of RAM. I appreciate your advice!

I'd recommend Debian. It's an industry standard and is used everywhere, from personal setups to large enterprises. Arch is great, but it's not as widely used.

You can honestly learn deeply with either Arch or Debian. But if I had to suggest one, I'd say Arch has better documentation, especially if you're not a fan of diving into man pages too much.

If you really want to challenge yourself and learn fast, give Arch or even Gentoo a shot. They’ll definitely get you up to speed with other distributions quickly.

If you want to get into the nuts and bolts of creating a stable distribution, go with Debian. But if you're itching to tinker and explore, Arch is definitely the way to go!

Arch is perfect if you're into fiddling with your setup. Debian is more suited for those looking for a reliable workstation without the extra hassle.
