I'm currently using an Intel i7-11700KF with a 5070Ti and I usually game at 4K. Sometimes, I feel like my CPU is a bottleneck, so I'm considering an upgrade to either the 9800X3D or the 9950X3D. I'm looking for something that will last a long time. Specifically, I'm weighing the options between the 9800X3D with 6400MHz 32GB RAM or the 9950X3D with 6000MHz 32GB RAM. The 9950X3D setup is about 150 AUD more expensive than the 9800X3D. Which one should I go for? I really appreciate your help!

I’d definitely suggest going for the 9800X3D. Since you're mainly gaming in 4K, you're likely more GPU-bound, so the 9800X3D will be a huge upgrade from your current CPU. Plus, the 9950X3D only shows a slight performance boost of about 2-5% with top-tier GPUs, which you probably won't even notice with your current setup. Better to invest that extra cash into something else, like a cooler or case!

Just to clarify, is there really a big difference if we consider the 9950X3D instead?
