I'm building my first PC and I'm debating between two graphics cards: the AMD 9070XT, which costs $840 where I live, and the NVIDIA 5070Ti, priced at $1400. I think I'm leaning towards the 9070XT due to the price difference, but I've been a long-time NVIDIA user and I'm unsure about how reliable AMD drivers are. Anyone with experience using the 9070XT, could you share how the drivers have been for you? I don't plan on using FSR, and I mainly play games like F1 titles, BeamNG, Assetto Corsa, and Euro Truck Simulator 2 at 1440p. Thanks for your help!

While some might say the 5070Ti offers better long-term support and resale value, I think the price hike isn't justified for regular gaming. The 9070XT is more than capable, especially for your gaming needs!
Good point, for regular gaming, I wouldn't worry too much about futureproofing with that much of a price difference.
Definitely go for the 9070XT at that price! The performance is great, and I've had no major driver issues. A few quirks now and then but nothing game-breaking. You'll save a lot upfront compared to the NVIDIA card!
Thanks for the insight! It sounds like the 9070XT is the way to go for my budget.
I’ve heard similar things—driver-wise, both options have had their share of bumps, but AMD offers way better value right now.
From what I've seen, AMD's drivers are pretty decent overall. There were some driver issues with both brands this generation, but honestly, the performance difference isn't worth the $560 extra for the 5070Ti. The 9070XT should perform well with the games you listed, especially at 1440p!
Totally with you on that; nobody should pay extra for slightly better Nvidia features when the price difference is so huge!
True, and the experience with AMD drivers has improved a lot. I think you'll be happy with the 9070XT.
For that price difference, there's just no contest. The 9070XT is a fantastic choice, especially since you mentioned not needing FSR. I've had a solid experience with it and it's handled everything I've thrown at it without issues.
That's really reassuring. I'm glad to hear it handles various games well!
Yeah, I had my doubts too, but went with the 9070XT and it's been smooth sailing!

Honestly, with the cost so high, the return on investment for the 5070Ti isn't really there unless you're doing intensive lifting with AI stuff.
