Should I choose the RTX 5070 or RX 9070 XT for my build?

I'm in an interesting situation where I can get either an RTX 5070 or an RX 9070 XT for roughly the same price, and I'm trying to decide which one would be the better option for my setup. I've got a Ryzen 5 3600 processor, 16GB of RAM, and a 650W power supply. While I know that the RX 9070 XT generally offers better performance, I'm really interested in the features that come with the Nvidia cards, such as DLSS, frame generation, and path tracing. I've got a few key questions: Will the Ryzen 5 3600 bottleneck these GPUs significantly? Is my 650W power supply sufficient for either of these graphics cards? And if I decide to go with the RX 9070 XT, can I operate it for a month with my current PSU before upgrading? What suggestions do you all have for my situation?

You'll definitely want to consider upgrading your CPU and power supply for optimal performance. The Ryzen 5 3600 is going to hold back both the 9070 and the 5070, especially with demanding games. If I were you, I'd lean towards the RX 9070 XT since it's generally a stronger card, but make sure to pair it with at least an 850W PSU. Running it on your current PSU could risk damage, so upgrading that first is the safest approach.

Thanks for the input! I realize the CPU and PSU situation isn’t ideal for handling such a powerful GPU. I currently have a GTX 1660 Super, so a new card will be a big leap for me. My plan is to get a new PSU soon, then address the CPU after.
