Should I Choose the Ryzen 5 9600X or 7600X3D for Gaming?

I'm looking to upgrade my setup from an R5 3600 with a 4070 and 16GB DDR4 RAM to something more powerful. My options are the Ryzen 5 9600X, which costs around $181, and the Ryzen 5 7600X3D priced at about $260 in my area. I'll also be upgrading to 32GB DDR5 6000 RAM. I mainly play Warzone daily and some single-player games like Crimson Desert. I've heard that the X3D chips are better for gaming due to the extra cache, but I'm not sure if the roughly 38% price difference is justified for my situation. I'm also thinking of getting a 5070 Ti later this year. Will the 7600X3D significantly improve my gaming experience, or is the 9600X a better value?

If you're considering a GPU upgrade, going with the 7600X3D might be the way to go. It offers better performance for gaming, especially if you're sticking with your setup for a while. Just keep in mind that the 9600X is solid too, especially if it allows you to save up for an even better GPU like the 5080 later on.
