Should I get an RTX 2070 or wait for the RTX 5060?

I'm considering upgrading my GPU and I'm torn between getting an RTX 2070 soon or saving a bit longer for the RTX 5060. I want to know how the RTX 5060 will perform with my current setup, which includes a Ryzen 5 5600 CPU, 32GB of DDR4 RAM, and whether my 500-watt power supply will be enough for it.

I actually think the 2070 is a solid choice if you want something right now. I recently got one for a backup rig, but honestly, it doesn't impress me much at 1080p compared to my 6600 XT. If you can wait, the 5060 might be worth it.

The RTX 5060 should pair well with your Ryzen 5 5600 and 32GB of RAM. Just keep in mind, upgrading your power supply could give you more headroom, but 500W should be sufficient as long as it’s a reliable brand.

Sounds like everything would work fine together! Just ensure that 500W is adequate for your whole setup, but for what you mentioned, it should manage.

The 5060 should be fine with a good 500W PSU, but you mentioned you have a MSI MAG A550BN, which is actually 550 watts. That should be plenty, as long as it’s a quality unit!
