Should I Keep My New RAM Purchase or Consider Alternatives?

I just bought a 32 GB kit of DDR5 6000 G Skill X Flare for $330 on Amazon. It's a bit pricey, but it's the only kit I could find that offers reasonable delivery times and price considering the current market. Before I finalize the purchase, I'm wondering if I should stick with this kit or look for alternatives on eBay. I have the budget, so that's not a problem, and I've already ordered my other components as well. Any advice would be appreciated!

If you're after 6000 mt/s CL30, this price is about the best you'll find online right now. You could opt for a slower CL36 or even CL40 to save some cash, but it won't make a huge difference in performance. Plus, who knows how prices will shift while you think about returning? I'd say just keep it, it's a solid choice!

Thank you boss. Just what I needed to hear!

I've been reading that things might get crazy by 2026, so I thought it's better to get it now.

If you have a Micro Center nearby, that kit is going for $250 right now.

Unfortunately, the nearest one is 6 hours away. The gas and snacks to get there would eat up any savings I'd make from buying it for $250 instead of $330!

That kit is one of the most reliable and compatible options available. I've used it in four different builds, including mine and my wife's, and I’ve never had any issues. Great latency and it handles timing and voltage tweaks really well. Plus, the low profile design means it fits nicely alongside coolers. In terms of quality, you've made a great pick!

Thank you so much for the feedback. This is exactly what I was hoping to hear!

It really depends on the CAS latency (CL). The cheapest 6000 CL36 kit on PC part picker is around $240, while the 6000 CL30 one is listed at about $315.

I went with CL30. I wanted a reputable brand with good reviews!
