For gaming, your graphics card is probably going to be the limiting component before the 5700X is. Unless you’re trying to drive very high frame rates or using a particularly powerful GPU, moving to AM5 may not make a noticeable difference right now. I’d keep the current setup and upgrade when it stops meeting your needs.

There’s no reason to change platforms just for the sake of having AM5. A platform upgrade means buying a new motherboard and DDR5 memory as well as the CPU, so the total cost can be significant in Australia.
