Should I Remove My CPU Cooler When Packing My PC for a Long Train Trip?

Hey everyone! I'm relocating soon and need to take my PC with me in a suitcase. It's a long train journey of over 30 hours, and I need to travel with my dogs, so I'm making sure everything is secure. I've already decided to remove my GPU and RAM, but I'm not sure if I should also take out my CPU cooler. Additionally, is it a good idea to pack bubble wrap or clothes inside the case to protect it? Any advice would be super helpful!

If you have an AIO (All-in-One) cooler, you should be fine leaving it in. But if your setup uses a bulky air cooler, it’s best to remove it for the journey.

Yeah, if it's a big tower cooler, just go ahead and take it out. Better safe than sorry! I'd also avoid stuffing anything inside your case, as loose items could cause static discharge which is risky.

If your cooler is a hefty dual tower model, you might want to remove it. I once transported my PC with the cooler on, and the heat pipes bent a bit—it was a bit of a scare! Better to be cautious.
