I've already scheduled a battery replacement at the Apple Store, which will cost me £85. However, I'm wondering if it's worth getting the battery replaced or if I should just wait to upgrade to a new phone. I just spent £1200 on a new laptop for Christmas, so I'm not in a position to buy a new iPhone right now. I have an old Android phone I can use temporarily, but all my data is on this iPhone, and I need it for when I do get a new one. If I get the battery replaced, do you think it would last me another year until I'm ready to buy a new phone around my birthday?

Honestly, for £85, you could keep your phone running for another few years. It might make sense to invest in the battery now and then get a refurbished phone later that suits your budget. I've had old models that still work fine, even without new batteries!
