Should I Return My RX 9060 XT and Upgrade to a 9070 XT or 5070 Ti?

I recently built my first PC and aimed for good performance while staying within a moderate budget. However, I'm encountering consistent crashes while playing Arc Raiders with my current setup, which includes a Ryzen 5 9600x and a Sapphire RX 9060 XT 16GB. These crashes occur about 75% of the time when loading a specific map. I have 32GB of 6000MHz RAM, a Gigabyte 850 motherboard, and a mid-range SSD, and I've ruled out issues with those components.

I'm worried that continuing to use the 9060 might lead to issues with other games, and I have the option to return the card. I'd have to stretch my budget a bit—$300 extra for the RX 9070 or $400 for a 5070 Ti. I'm leaning toward the RX 9070 XT if I decide to make the switch.

As someone who recently returned to PC gaming after some time away, I wonder whether I should run lean for a month and invest in a better GPU or if I'm overreacting after just a week of gaming. Did I make a poor choice, given my research? I value any advice you can offer, especially since I'm concerned about running into problems with future games like Cyberpunk and BF6.

It's a known issue with Arc Raiders, so chances are they'll patch it soon. If you're within your return window, upgrading to the RX 9070 or 9070 XT could be a smart long-term investment. Just keep in mind, no matter which card you buy, there's always the chance of encountering bugs with new games.

That makes sense! If I'm going for the swap, should I definitely lean toward the 9070 XT instead of just the 9070, since my Ryzen 5 9600x shouldn't create a significant bottleneck?
