Should I Suggest My Boss Get a New Case for Our PC Build?

I suspect that the shipping damage to the bottom of the tower is causing the power supply unit (PSU) to not fit properly. There's this nagging feeling that I might be overthinking it, but the screw holes don't align at all like they should. I'm considering providing a picture in the comments for reference. The case is a Thermaltake AX500 and the PSU is a bequiet! Straight Power 12 1500w.

If you want to be proactive, suggesting a new case or warranty replacement is definitely the best route. That said, if it’s a hassle, a hammer and some wood could shape things up again!

Yeah, that dent is definitely a concern. I wouldn't blame anyone for wanting to buy a new case because of it. You might be able to fix the dent with a bit of elbow grease, but honestly, if it’s misaligned, that could be an issue down the line.

It's not ideal, but if the case can still ventilate properly, it might not cause any huge problems. Still, if there's an option to return or exchange it, I say go for it—who would want a dent in a brand new setup? Otherwise, a hammer could do the trick, but I wouldn't want the PSU just sitting unsecured.
