Hey everyone! I've been using my i5-13600K for about two years now without any major issues. Recently, I faced some instability when trying to undervolt it a bit. Additionally, I got a notification while downloading Overwatch suggesting a BIOS update for stability. My setup includes an ASUS ROG Strix Z690-E Gaming WiFi motherboard. I'm curious if updating the BIOS is easy to do and if it's really necessary. Right now, during an OCCT stress test, my CPU is pulling around 1.18V and 124 watts on average. Just for reference, I'm currently on BIOS version American Megatrends Inc. 2602, dated 7/3/2023.

I’m not sure how much a BIOS update will help in this case, but I’ve been running mine at -150mV and it’s been really stable. Maybe it’s just a bit of bad luck with your specific setup.

I’ve heard that the latest BIOS version is important for the 13th gen CPUs so I was hoping it might improve stability.
