Should I Upgrade from a 6800 XT to a 5070 Ti?

I'm considering whether it's worth upgrading my 6800 XT to a 5070 Ti. I'm currently using it with a 5800X3D processor, and I'm not looking to switch to AM5 anytime soon. This would be the final upgrade for my PC, and I'd need to invest around $615 after selling my 6800 XT. Curious about your thoughts!

First off, what resolution do you usually game at? Is it 1080p, 1440p, or even 4K? Also, what types of games do you play? Those factors could influence your decision big time.

If you're looking for a solid upgrade, the 5070 Ti is about 50% faster, so it's a noticeable jump. However, I still think going for the 9070 XT is a smarter move. Since you're already using AMD, you'd save some money—around $100 to $200—and still get great performance without needing all the extra features that come with Nvidia.

Yes, the 5070 Ti will definitely perform better than your 6800 XT. The main thing to consider is if that performance boost is worth the extra cash for you. Personally, I suggest looking at the 9070 XT instead. It offers comparable performance and usually comes in cheaper than the 5070 Ti.
