I recently made the leap to 1440p and upgraded from an Intel Arc A750 to a 5060ti. The visual quality jumped significantly, but I feel like my FPS isn't as high as I'd expect. I understand that moving to a higher resolution can affect FPS, but I'm curious if a CPU upgrade would provide a noticeable boost. Right now, I'm running an i5-12400 with 32GB of DDR4 RAM.

If you're getting frame drops, consider jumping to a 14600k. But if your games are running smoothly and you're happy with the FPS, then sticking with that i5-12400 is fine!
The 14600kf is a solid choice for your setup, but if your motherboard isn’t compatible, it may not perform as well. What motherboard are you using?
Check how much of your CPU is being used when you play. If it's hitting around 40-50%, then an upgrade could really help. But remember, going for a better CPU might also mean you'll need a new motherboard if you're eyeing one of those x3d chips. I’d recommend tweaking your settings a bit to maximize GPU usage instead; that should help.

I'm using a Gigabyte B660M DS3H DDR4 Micro ATX LGA1700. Not sure about all the motherboard letters, though!
