Hey everyone! I'm upgrading my setup from a Ryzen 5800X with an RX 580 to a Ryzen 9850X3D and a Radeon 9070XT. I'm currently using a 750W power supply, which is about 12 years old, and I'm wondering if I should upgrade to an 850W PSU. What do you think?

For any upgrades in this day and age, I suggest going no lower than 850W. I personally use an EVGA Gold 850W and find it great, but the Corsair RM850 is also a solid choice!

Honestly, most quality power supplies come with a 10-year warranty these days, and newer models have better safety features. It sounds like it's time to replace yours.

Given that your PSU is 12 years old, I definitely recommend upgrading. A newer unit, like the Montech Century II 850W Gold, is a good budget option to consider.
