Should I Upgrade My RAM Speed from 4800 MT/s to 5600 or 6000 MT/s?

Hey everyone! I'm currently using 2x16GB of RAM running at 4800 MT/s. I'm wondering if there's any real benefit to upgrading to 5600 MT/s or even 6000 MT/s. I picked up my current sticks on eBay for about £24, but I've noticed that prices have jumped significantly since then. So, is it worth making the switch for the increased speed? Thanks for any advice!

Definitely not the right time to upgrade. With these price hikes and overall market craziness, it’s better to save your money unless you really need that extra speed.

It was definitely a good move to upgrade a while back, but right now, I would say hold off. The benefits aren't significant enough given today's prices.

In normal circumstances, yes, upgrading would be worth it for the performance gains. But considering the current price spikes, it feels more like a waste of cash. Stick with what you have for now!

Honestly, I don't think it's worth the upgrade right now. RAM prices are all over the place, and the performance boost may not justify the cost, especially given current market conditions.
