Should I Upgrade My Ryzen 5 2600 and GTX 1070 TI Setup in 2026?

I'm currently using a Ryzen 5 2600 and a GTX 1070 TI on a B450 Tomahawk motherboard. I'm wondering if I should upgrade my CPU and GPU or if it makes more sense to build a completely new rig. My gaming resolution is 1080p, and I'm not looking for the absolute best performance—just something solid that can handle new games without issues.

If your budget allows, you could grab a Ryzen 5600 or 5500X3D along with a 5060 or 5060 Ti. With options like DLSS, you could even think about moving to a 1440p monitor. But honestly, don't bother with a new rig right now since RAM prices are high.

Are you finding your current performance lacking? If new games are struggling on high settings, it might be worth looking into upgrades.

For around $500, you can significantly upgrade your setup. Consider getting a Ryzen 5600 paired with a Radeon 9060 XT with 16GB RAM. It'll give you a nice boost without going all out on a new build.

What's your exact budget? And are you in the US or closer to a Microcenter? It could help narrow down your options for upgrades.
