I recently upgraded most of my PC components except for the GPU, which is still a 3070 Turbo. I'm contemplating whether to go for a 3090 Founders Edition that I've found at a decent price on eBay or to opt for a 5070 Ti instead. My power supply is a 750W 80+ Gold, so I'm just curious about the best upgrade path for gaming performance.

I’d recommend the 5070 Ti. The 3090 isn’t really worth it for gaming anymore; it’s older and performs worse in that regard. Most of its value comes from its higher VRAM, which is more useful for AI tasks than for gaming.
The 5070 Ti is around 30% faster than the 3090 and has features like DLSS Frame Generation that can give you a nice edge. Without knowing the exact prices, I’d still lean towards the 5070 Ti if they’re similar in price.
Yeah, they’re pretty much the same price range—3090 is about $800 and the 5070 Ti is between $730 to $830.
