I'm currently using a Ryzen 7 7700X with a 5070 Ti, and I'm contemplating whether I should upgrade to an AMD X3D CPU since both are compatible with the AM5 socket. I'm curious if it's worth making the switch.

If everything's running smoothly for you, there's really no rush to upgrade. It largely depends on the games you're playing—titles like Factorio and Satisfactory really benefit from the X3D architecture, but in other games, your GPU might hold you back more than your CPU will.
What’s prompting the upgrade? Are you noticing any performance issues?
Not really, I just feel like it’s time for an upgrade since I've had my CPU since its launch in 2022.
