Should I use my Newegg gift card now or save it for later?

I recently received a $110 gift card from Newegg when I bought my 5070ti in July/August, and I know it expires in a year so I need to use it eventually. I'm seeking suggestions on what to consider purchasing. Here's what I have: an i5-14600k, 32GB of DDR4 RAM, the 5070ti GPU, an NZXT Kraken Cooler, and I believe I've maxed out my motherboard's NVMe slots. I use two Oled monitors (32GS95UE and MAG 271QPX) and I play games like Crimson Desert, Borderlands 4, and occasionally Valorant, Destiny, or Battlefield 6. I also do coding and some video editing. Any recommendations on whether I should use the gift card now or save it for potential future upgrades?

Honestly, if you don't have any urgent upgrades in mind, it may not be worth spending the gift card if you don't need anything. Just keep the UPS idea in mind. If your power's unstable, definitely get one! You could also save the card for the AM6 or new Intel releases in a year or two when more worthwhile upgrades come out.

What about a new PSU upgrade? It could be a good long-term investment. If you're looking for accessories, a nice keyboard or mouse could also be on the table! The Logitech MX Master 4 is a fantastic option if you're thinking about a new mouse!

You might consider selling or trading your current CPU for an upgrade to an i7 or i9 if they have trade-in options. That could really boost your performance!

If you're considering any new peripherals, maybe treat yourself to a wireless headset? It could be nice to relax in bed while still using your PC. Just a thought!

I'm already using a Shure MV7 and some nice IEMs, so probably not! But a wireless headset does sound tempting for lazy days. I haven’t used a regular headset in years!

If you're just looking to use the gift card, maybe hold onto it and see if you need something as it gets closer to the expiration date. You never know what might come up or if something breaks!

Considering you do coding and video editing, how about a RAM upgrade to 64GB? Future-proofing your PC now can pay off later, especially with the way software is evolving!

How about using it for a UPS? It's one of those things people always think about getting but often forget. Keeping your setup safe from power outages can be really worth it!

Sounds responsible, right? Better safe than sorry, lmao!
