I just got a new 1000W power supply and noticed it comes with a 12VHPWR cable for connecting my GPU. I'm trying to decide whether I should use this cable or opt for the 3x8 adapters instead. Which option would be more effective for powering my GPU?

Go with the 12VHPWR cable that came with your PSU. It’s designed for that specific unit, so you’re reducing the chances of any issues. Plus, it keeps things tidy and efficient.
Definitely stick with the native 12VHPWR cable. Using adapters can introduce potential failure points, and the built-in cable is usually of better quality. It also looks cleaner without the clutter of adapters.
Just to give you a heads-up, if you're considering the adapters, they're mainly for users who don’t have a PSU with the right cable. If you have the 12VHPWR option, use that instead, it's the best route to go.

That's exactly it! The adapters can work, but they’re not the best choice if your PSU supports the direct connection. Stick with the cable that comes with it.
