I recently purchased a 1stplayer NGDP 850W power supply that has a native 12VHPWR cable. I'm wondering if I should use this native cable with my Sapphire Nitro+ 9070 XT graphics card or if it would be safer to stick with the adapter that comes with the card. Will using the native cable cause any damage to the GPU?

The adapter that comes with the GPU is mainly for those with older power supplies. It's usually safe to use if the PSU is decent and the connections are tight. However, I'd recommend going with the native 12VHPWR cable for optimal performance.
It's generally a good idea to use the cable that comes with your power supply instead of the adapter. Just make sure to connect it securely all the way, and try to avoid any sharp bends in the cable, especially near the connections.
If I were you, I might consider returning the card for one that doesn’t use that connector. It has a reputation for being prone to burning, and it's not worth taking the risk.
