Skullcandy Crusher Evo pairs but won’t stay connected to my laptop

My Skullcandy Crusher Evo headphones work normally with my phone and tablet, and they used to work with my laptop. About a year ago, they suddenly stopped connecting properly. They pair successfully and briefly announce "Connected," but within a few seconds they switch back to "Not connected." Windows then says the connection failed and suggests making sure the headphones are discoverable.

I've already reset the headphones, restarted the laptop, installed updates, run the Bluetooth troubleshooter, removed and reinstalled Bluetooth devices, and restarted Bluetooth and audio-related services. Nothing has helped. What could be causing this, and what else can I try?

I also tried including a screenshot of my laptop information, but the first image clearly didn't display correctly.

The laptop model information didn’t come through—the post only shows a broken image reference. The exact model, operating system version, and Bluetooth adapter would be needed to suggest the right driver or compatibility fix. Please provide those details, since the headphones themselves appear to work with other devices.

You’re right—the first image was incorrect. I’ve replaced it with the proper screenshot, although I’m still not sure why the original didn’t display.
