Spectrum Router Still Blinking Red After Replacement and Reset Attempts

I recently had my service address changed while I was away on vacation. When I returned, my internet was down. My older Spectrum router was blinking red, so I tried resetting and reactivating everything several times before contacting a technician. Since the modem had never gone offline, the technician suggested replacing the router, which I did.

The new router is also blinking red even after completing activation in the app, trying both reset methods, unplugging the modem and router, and starting the setup process over from scratch. The modem's online light appears normal, so the problem seems to be between the modem and router. The power lights on both devices are blinking orange, although the technician said that was expected.

This has been going on for four days. What should I check next, and could the router or service still need to be provisioned on Spectrum's end?

It would help to provide the exact make and model of the modem and both routers, along with which lights are solid, blinking, or off. Also mention whether the connection uses coax or fiber. A red router light can mean different things depending on the model, and the orange power light may simply indicate startup or normal operation. Verify that the Ethernet cable runs from the modem's Ethernet port to the router's WAN or Internet port, then reboot the modem first and wait until it is fully online before powering up the router.
