Hey everyone! I'm 21 and I've just started studying Computer Science at university. I'm finding coding to be quite challenging, especially with my slow pace and limited foundational knowledge in computer science. What would you suggest I do to improve my understanding and problem-solving skills in coding? Any tips or resources would be greatly appreciated!

It might be a good idea to start fresh and really focus on the basics. Make sure you're not rushing through things but instead taking the time to understand them thoroughly.

If you've only been at it for a couple of months, don't be too hard on yourself. Skill takes time to build. Make sure to practice a lot and check out some helpful resources like books on programming and problem-solving techniques. Consistent practice is crucial!

Thanks for your response! I've been thinking about platforms like Codeforces for practicing problems. Do you think focusing on lots of problems based on difficulty is a good strategy, or should I stick to learning specific topics like pointers?

Pick one programming language and really get to know it inside and out. Try to solve small daily problems and work on projects that let you apply what you learn. This has been key for me as a beginner!
