Hey everyone! I'm a fan of CS and have been getting more into the game, but I'm experiencing low frame rates. My setup includes an RTX 5090, a 9950 processor, and 32GB of RAM at 6000MHz, yet I can barely reach 300 fps, while others seem to hit 500-600 fps easily. I've made sure my drivers are up to date and have XMP enabled. What else can I do to boost my performance?

First, let’s take a look at your in-game settings. What resolution are you playing at and what settings have you chosen? You might want to lower them a bit to see if that helps. Also, check your GPU utilization in CS; it could give us clues on what's going wrong.
Make sure your DisplayPort or HDMI cable is plugged directly into your GPU, not the motherboard. Sometimes, this can affect your performance significantly. If it's already connected correctly, it might be worth trying a different cable just to rule out any issues.
I checked, and it's connected directly to the card, so that shouldn't be the problem.

I'm playing on High settings (not very high), but I haven't checked the utilization percentage yet.
