Stuck on Raptor Game Projects and Infinite Loops

I'm struggling with my Raptor programming classes. The early exercises were manageable, but now I've been assigned four games: Guess the Number, Tic-Tac-Toe, Hangman, and a Battleship-style game. I've only finished Guess the Number. The others use a graphical interface with shapes and lines, and my programs either crash or get stuck in infinite loops. I'm feeling frustrated and would really appreciate some guidance on how to debug these projects and understand Raptor better.

For the infinite loops in Tic-Tac-Toe and Hangman, temporarily add a counter inside the loop. Increase it every iteration, and stop the loop after something like 1,000 passes while displaying the important variables. That will show which condition is never changing or which value is being updated incorrectly. Also check that every loop has a clear exit condition and that the variables used in that condition actually change.

Raptor is a flowchart-based programming tool designed to help students visualize how algorithms execute. It can feel more confusing than a regular programming language once projects become larger, so break each game into small pieces: get input, update the game state, check for a win, and then draw the result. Test each piece separately instead of building the whole game at once.
