Hey everyone! I'm moving from a 27-inch monitor to a larger 32-inch one and I'm also getting a new standing desk. I'm wondering how much bigger my desk should be to accommodate this change. It feels like the 32-inch monitor will be a significant upgrade. For those of you who have made the switch, how far away do you keep your monitor to achieve the same viewing distance and field of view? I've heard it's recommended to increase your distance by about 18.5%, but I'm curious about your personal experiences.

While it’s not exactly what you asked, I actually kept my distance pretty much the same. I found it comfortable enough to lean back while gaming.
From my experience, I used to have my 27" monitor about 90-100cm away (around 3 feet). For the 32", I’ve moved it back to about 120-130cm (about 4 feet). That distance seems to work well for me!

Thanks! Can you share how deep your desk is? This might help me get an idea of space requirements.
