Hey everyone! I'm looking to make the switch from Windows to Nobara Steam OS on my PC that's hooked up to my TV, basically using it like a console with a controller. I've already downloaded the ISO and I'm about to prepare the USB boot stick. I've also turned off secure boot in the BIOS. My main question is: Do I need to reset my whole PC before I switch? Will it overwrite all my SSDs?

If you’re worried about formatting everything, you might want to rethink it. If one SSD is for Nobara, that one will definitely need formatting, while the other with just Steam games can stay as is. Just back up anything important!
Disabling secure boot is a good move! Just so you know, that's often necessary if you're dual-booting, and it's also a must for Nobara since its kernel doesn’t play nice with secure boot. Most modern systems use UEFI, so you're good there.
No need to reset your entire PC! Just keep in mind that you'll have to format at least one partition on a disk to install the new OS. What happens to the rest is totally up to you.
