Hey everyone! I recently upgraded my GPU from an RTX 4060 (8GB) to an RX 9060 XT (16GB) and I'm currently running an Intel i7-10700F. I'm considering upgrading my CPU while keeping my 32GB DDR4 RAM. Any recommendations on what I should go for?

If you want to stick with your current RAM setup, I recommend checking out a used i7-11700K. It offers around 50% better performance compared to your current CPU, but ensure you have proper cooling and that your motherboard can handle it. Alternatively, going for an i7-12700K with a DDR4-compatible motherboard could be a great choice, too—it generally offers double the performance on average, but again, you'll want a solid cooler for that one!

Haha, yeah 'keep' was definitely the word! I have a B560M Gaming HD motherboard which can handle the 11700K, plus I've got a decent AIO cooler that keeps temps in check. Do you think it's worth upgrading to just one generation newer?
