Thoughts on Buying from Amazon and Tariff Concerns as an American?

I'm curious about other Americans' experiences with buying items online, particularly from Amazon. I've mostly stuck to shopping in physical stores or buying locally online to avoid any unexpected tariff import bills due to recent changes. Has anyone received these bills while ordering? I'm finding it increasingly challenging to locate the items I want that are available on Amazon, so I'd love to hear about your experiences!

From my experience, most of the time, the costs are rolled into what you see on the site, at least on Amazon. I love ordering auto parts and having them delivered to a local locker; it’s super convenient! Just be aware that if you leave an item in your cart for a while, the price and shipping can change before you check out.

You typically won't get a separate tariff bill since they're usually included in the sticker price on Amazon. Just keep an eye on the full price when you're checking out!

It does depend on what you’re ordering. Some auto parts I buy do have a tariff listed separately.

I wouldn’t count on it being included for everything, so just be cautious about ordering from outside the USA.
