Thoughts on My PC Build Before Black Friday?

Hey everyone! I'm planning to build a PC for around €1750-€1800 and I'm waiting for Black Friday deals to finalize my purchase. I've already bought a 2x16GB Corsair Vengeance Expo kit at 6000MHz CL30. I'm considering getting a 5070 or 5070 Super for my GPU. My primary focus will be on 1080p competitive gaming, but I want to ensure it can handle everything I throw at it with good frame rates. I'm also putting some thought into aesthetics, though I know I could save a bit by choosing a cheaper case without extra fans. Would love to hear your thoughts on my setup!

Have you thought about going with a Ryzen 7800X 3D and a 9070XT? It's a great combo for high performance! Just a heads up though, the 9070XT is on the pricier side at around €800, so it doesn’t really fit your budget compared to the 5070 option.

True, but the 9070XT is way beyond what I'm looking to spend. The 5070 fits my budget way better at around €600.

Your build looks solid overall! One tip would be to consider a cheaper motherboard option, and definitely look for an SSD with DRAM cache for better performance, like the Kingston Fury Renegade or Samsung 990 Pro. I’m not a fan of the Asus PSUs in the lower range, so maybe explore some other options there.

I get your point about the motherboard, but I believe investing in a good one like the B650 Tomahawk is worth it for the VRM quality. I'll check on the M.2 SSD for that DRAM cache—if it’s really that much better, I might spend the extra €30.
